this unassuming little book presented many challenges and opportunities: illustrations, footnotes, sidebars, charts and appendices all required flexible formatting. On the fun side, I was able to play with the travel-book genre. The Reluctant Pilgrim was produced in print, print-on-demand and ebook editions (EPUB and Kindle), and that was where even more challenges arose: trying to get a semi-consistent look among many different ebook readers and apps.
